The animator would take the time to animate it, and when they finished, they would go on to another character. The movie was completely edited before we started, and I let the animators choose which scenes they wanted. If it happened that more than one person wanted the same scene, I had them draw sample still images of what their scene would look like and presented the stills to the director. We had 16 Macintosh G3 computers and we had 30 people, so the schedule was broken up where most people worked 20 to 30 hours per week.
